RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Full-time night shift position

• 36 guaranteed hours per week

• Float between Biddeford and Sanford campuses as needed

• 2 on-call shifts required per 8-week schedule period

• Weekend hours as needed

• Prefer at least 2 years emergency department experience

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

• Must complete all pertinent learning modules as assigned per hospital policy

• Work with general emergency department equipment using EPIC EMR system

• Patient ratios vary throughout shift

• Must wear scrubs (any color acceptable), no plain clothes or clothing with wording

• Expected to follow all hospital policies including annual skills fair completion and learning modules

• 1-day orientation required

• Must demonstrate solid critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize in busy emergency department

• Care for diverse patient population requiring compassionate interaction

• Team player mentality essential

• Will be scheduled to fill coverage needs throughout scheduling period up to contracted hours
