The Lead Residential Care Worker role assists the Residential Supervisor with operational and administrative tasks. The Lead provides emotional support, skills, training, rehabilitation and personal supervision for clients in their own homes.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field preferred. - License/
Certifications:
MHRT-I Certification or eligibility to receive certification required. MHRT/C Certification or eligibility to receive certification required. Proof of all certifications required for provisional MHRT-I. Valid driver’s license and acceptable automobile liability insurance required. - Experience:
Two years of experience working in a residential care setting preferred. Two years of experience working with a broad spectrum of mentally ill clients preferred. - Additional Skills/Requirements
Required:
Qualify as an “Other Qualified Mental Health Professional” from the Maine Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services. - Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
