Manager of Facilities Management
The Manager of Facilities Management oversees the planning, coordination, and administration of all maintenance operations for the University’s buildings, grounds, and equipment on the University of New England Portland Campus. This role ensures that facilities are maintained to the highest standards, in compliance with institutional policies, operational procedures, and regulations.
The Manager leads and supervises a team of facilities staff, overseeing training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and staff development. They administer operating and capital budgets, coordinate preventive maintenance programs, and work closely with contractors, vendors, and University personnel to support construction, renovation, and ongoing facilities operations.
This position also manages records, reporting, and operational planning to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and technical expertise in facilities management, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to maintain a functional and well-maintained campus environment.
The anticipated annual salary for this position is $76,000, with total compensation ranging from $97,207 to $112,333 depending on medical and dental plans selected.
