Shop Worker – Urgently hiring in Biddeford!

Shop Worker / Fabrication Generalist Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Looking for a hands‑on job where no two days are exactly the same? We’re looking for a dependable Shop Worker to join a busy metal fabrication team! This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working with tools, machinery, and a team.

• Deburring and shaking out metal materials and finished parts
• Drilling and tapping materials and installing hardware
• Safely operating drill presses, hardware insertion equipment, and handheld grinders
• Moving and handling materials throughout the shop
• Performing routine equipment maintenance and daily safety checks
• Inspecting parts for defects, damage, quantity, and proper orientation
• Reading work orders, job travelers, and basic specifications
• Using a tape measure and dial caliper to verify measurements
• Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Assisting other team members throughout the fabrication process
• Communicating equipment issues or process improvements to supervisors

• High school diploma/GED or vocational training preferred
• Strong mechanical ability and a willingness to learn
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Ability to identify different types and gauges of metal
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and a positive “can-do” attitude
• Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus!

• $20–$25/hr, based on experience
• Monday–Friday schedule
• 7:00 AM–3:30 PM hours
• Hands‑on work in a team‑oriented shop environment
