Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry Float position requiring a ME or compact RN license and two years of relevant experience.

• Position is for a Nursing Float unit in a hospital setting
• Role involves floating across multiple units and potentially facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
• Patient population includes Med/Surg and telemetry patients
• Night shift schedule, 18:45 to 07:15
• Med/Surg telemetry patient care on a float basis
• Candidates may be required to float between facilities up to 25 miles away
• Local travelers within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are subject to different pay rates and are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• No travel pairs or groups allowed
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months should disclose this

• Active ME or compact RN license required
• Minimum of two years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Driver’s License must be provided at time of consideration
