American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit requiring 2 years of experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit with 56 beds
• General med/surg telemetry patient population
• RN patient ratios of 1:4-5 days and 1:5-6 nights
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Weekend hours vary by schedule
• RNs required to take 2 12-hour call shifts during the 13-week contract
• Float required to other med/surg units as needed within a 25-mile policy
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (ME or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

• Provide nursing care to general med/surg telemetry patients
• Scrubs may be any color but must be clean and professional; hoodies, graphic shirts, and open shoes are not permitted
• Candidates within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are considered local and are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months must disclose this during consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
