Site Manager

Overview

The Site Manager role in Bideford is a full‑time, three‑month contract with a competitive PAYE/umbrella PAYE rate. It involves supporting a Senior Project Manager on site as a major scheme enters its final delivery phases. RGB Recruitment is hiring for a well‑established contractor with a strong project portfolio. This role requires an experienced Site Manager with a solid background in main contracting, capable of managing a thriving project to completion.

• Coordinate and monitor the supply chain in terms of quality control and on‑time delivery to project milestones.
• Ensure full site visibility and oversee the execution of works in a busy, thriving environment.
• Maintain and uphold Health & Safety standards throughout the project.
• Support the site‑based Senior Project Manager and collaborate with the project team during final delivery phases.

• Experience managing major schemes of £10m.
• Strong technical aptitude and proven track record in delivering high‑quality public sector works to time and budget.
• Comprehensive understanding of Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
• Excellent IT skills and advanced Health & Safety awareness.
• Academic or trades background accepted. SMSTS, a CSCS Card (Black, White or Gold) and First Aid at work essential.
• Asbestos awareness, scaffold inspection and temporary works experience advantageous.
