Our Finance team plays a key role in keeping the business running smoothly. As our Accounts Payable Assistant, you’ll help ensure we pay our suppliers accurately and on time, maintain strong working relationships and provide a great service to colleagues across the business.

This is a role for someone who enjoys accuracy, structure and process and who takes pride in getting the details right. You’ll join a friendly and supportive finance function and work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep information up to date and answer queries promptly.

What you’ll be doing
  • Processing supplier invoices, credit notes and manual requests accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reviewing and verifying invoices and payment requests
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Responding to supplier queries promptly and professionally
  • Maintaining accurate and organised financial records
  • Supporting month-end activities within agreed deadlines
  • Meeting Accounts Payable service levels and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Helping to ensure a positive service experience for both suppliers and internal colleagues
  • Supporting ad-hoc finance projects as required
What you’ll bring
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role (ideally 2+ years)
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers and internal teams
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Numerate, literate and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
