Overview
Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role is a hybrid of patient care and commercial focus that requires a strong leader with a passion for Healthcare, patients and driving a profitable business. The role is accountable for delivering all Pharmacy‑related targets and deadlines and for managing the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues, supporting the drive to make Asda Pharmacy the best in class.
Key Responsibilities- Accountable for delivering all Pharmacy‑related targets and deadlines.
- Manage the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues.
- Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience while maintaining high standards of professional customer service and compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and achieve exceptional levels of patient safety.
- Provide support and development for all direct reports and locums.
- Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
- Experienced in line managing and pharmacy practice.
- Capable of balancing managerial responsibilities with pharmacy duties while delivering a safe working environment.
- Experience in challenging, confronting and solving difficult situations, maintaining strong connections with in‑store and field teams.
- Valid GPhC registration, evidence of right to work in the UK, relevant safeguarding qualifications and DBS check.
- Enrolled in live update service.
