Role overview
Working closely with employers, Business Development Managers, training partners,schools and careers services, you will manage the end-to-end apprenticeship recruitment journey. Your focus will be on attracting,engaging and supporting candidates, ensuring an exceptional experience for both learners and employers whilst contributing to the growth and success of our apprenticeship programmes.

Key responsibilities
- Apprentice Recruitment and Candidate Engagement
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for apprenticeship vacancies.
- Create engaging and compelling job advertisements that attract high-quality candidates.
- Promote vacancies through appropriate recruitmentchannels, jobboardsand social media platforms. Refreshing and renewing to keep ahead of algorithms on socials.
- Screen applications and assess suitability against apprenticeship eligibility requirements and employer criteria.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and employers, ensuring all compliance and safeguarding requirements are met.
- Gather and communicate interview feedback promptly,maintaininga positive candidate experience throughout.
- Support candidates through the recruitment process, providing Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) where appropriate.
- Maintain regular contact with applicants and new starters to support engagement,onboarding and retention.
- Ensure every candidate receives a professional,responsive and positive experience, regardless of outcome.
Employer and Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Work closely with employers to understand recruitment needs and workforce planning requirements.
- Develop strong working relationships with Business Development Managers, trainingpartnersand operational teams.
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner, providing advice and support throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure recruitment targets and cohortstartsare achieved.
- Promote Skern Skills as an employer and training provider of choice.
- Build andmaintainrelationships with schools, colleges, careers services and community organisations to create sustainable candidate pipelines.
Attraction and Talent Pipeline Development
- Develop and deliver recruitment campaigns that generate quality apprenticeship applications.
- Build and nurture talent pools to meet both immediate and future recruitment requirements.
- Where required, be able to attend and support events including careers fairs, open evenings, school engagementactivitiesand community events.
- Identifyinnovative ways to attract talent and increase awareness of apprenticeship opportunities.
- Maintain a proactive approach to workforce planning, ensuring future recruitment needs areanticipatedand prepared for.
Systems, Reporting and Continuous Improvement
- Utilise the Enrolarecruitment system and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to its full capability.
- Ensure candidate records, vacancy information and recruitment data areaccurateand up to date.
- Produce regular reports on recruitment activity, pipelinestatusand performance metrics.
- Monitor recruitment outcomes andidentifyopportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Continually review recruitment processes to improve quality, candidateexperienceand stakeholder satisfaction.
- Embrace new technologies and best practice recruitment approaches to enhance service delivery.
Compliance and Quality
- Maintain a strong understanding of apprenticeship programmes, eligibilitycriteriaand compliance requirements.
- Ensure all recruitment activitycomplies withsafeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion principles and relevant employment legislation.
- Support organisational quality standards bymaintainingaccuraterecords and documentation throughout the recruitment process.
