Regional Site Operative

What will I be doing?

You will advise and assist the public on how to use the site in order to maximise recovery of materials deposited in the sites.

No previous experience required, however a good level of customer service is a must,

This will involve:

• Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
• Providing excellent levels of customer service
• Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant person, thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
• Maintain a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
• Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.

The role requires:

• A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
• A person extremely conscious of health and safety with the desire to develop and embrace change, whilst driven towards continuous improvement.
• You will be required to travel to local sites as required, so full driving licence and access to your own vehicle required with business insurance - legally required checks will be completed.
  
  Site expected to cover include:
  Bideford and Barnstaple, with occasional cover at South Molton and Ilfracombe.
