Job Description
At Parkdean Resorts, our retail shops are buzzing with activity and play a huge part in making holidays unforgettable. We’re looking for a Retail Assistant who’s passionate about great service and ready to help guests find everything they need for the perfect stay.
What you will be doing...- Welcome guests with a friendly smile and ensure their needs are met.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and offer helpful product advice.
- Keep the shop clean, tidy, safe, and well-presented at all times.
- Spot opportunities to upsell and boost sales.
- Replenish shelves, rotate stock, and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Operate tills confidently and handle transactions in line with company policies.
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with daily operations.
- Handle customer queries and elevate complaints when needed.
- Complete admin tasks accurately and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer‑facing environment.
- Knowledge of EPOS and stock management systems.
- Confidence to train, support, and motivate team members.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, especially during stock takes.
