Overview
As Development Engineer in BU SEMI, you will develop vacuum valves and systems for the semiconductor market, partnering with product managers, project teams and customers to drive technical and commercial success. You’ll participate in development and relocation initiatives, support lab testing, and create manufacturing drawings and docs. You’ll contribute to design reviews and optimize processes with manufacturing and supplier quality teams, while providing technical support on quality issues.
The role sits at the intersection of engineering, product lifecycle, and customer delivery, shaping next-generation vacuum solutions for digitalization and connectivity megatrends.
- Product development and ownership in collaboration with product managers, subsidiaries, and customers
- Active participation in development and relocation projects
- Support product tests in the laboratory
- Create and maintain manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Lead design reviews and optimization with manufacturing and supplier quality engineers
- Provide technical support for quality problems
Anforderungen
- Technical education or apprenticeship
- 2-3 years of professional experience preferred
- Hands-on, systematic, independent work style
- Ability to work in highly agile project teams
- Good CAD knowledge, Siemens NX advantageous
- Fluent in English;
German preferred - Willingness to travel 5-10%

Salary: EUR 63000 - 77000 per year
