Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are working with a leading semiconductor client seeking an experienced Senior Analog IC Designer to join their ASIC development team. This role will focus on defining, architecting and designing low-power analog and mixed-signal ASICs, translating customer requirements into detailed technical specifications and high-performance silicon solutions.

You will be involved throughout the full ASIC development lifecycle, from initial architecture definition and feasibility assessments to schematic design, simulation, verification, post-layout validation and silicon bring-up. Working closely with digital, verification, layout and product teams, you will also engage directly with customers to discuss technical requirements, review designs and support successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate customer requirements, system use cases and performance objectives into detailed ASIC-level specifications.
  • Define and develop low-power analog and mixed-signal architectures.
  • Optimise designs to achieve the right balance of power consumption, silicon area, performance and cost.
  • Design and verify analog IP, including amplifiers, voltage references, regulators, ADCs, DACs, oscillators and sensor interfaces.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate design trade-offs and perform power budget analysis.
  • Undertake schematic design, simulation, verification and post-layout validation.
  • Collaborate with digital, verification, layout and product teams across all stages of ASIC development.
  • Support silicon bring-up, characterisation and validation activities.
  • Contribute to customer design reviews and technical discussions.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing design requirements and implementation challenges.

Key Requirements

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design.
  • Strong expertise in low-power CMOS design techniques and ASIC development.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into clear, detailed design specifications.
  • Proficiency with Cadence and/or Siemens EDA design tools.
  • Strong understanding of analog design principles, including noise performance, reliability and semiconductor processes.
  • Experience developing solutions for battery-powered, industrial, automotive or medical applications.
  • Knowledge of sensor interfaces and advanced low-power design architectures.
  • Experience in mixed-signal system integration and silicon validation.

This is an opportunity for an experienced analog IC design professional to contribute to the development of advanced, low-power ASIC solutions, combining technical ownership across the design lifecycle with close collaboration across multidisciplinary engineering teams and direct customer engagement.
