Summary of Position:

Assistants work within the Dental Hygiene sterilization area.

Position Requirements :

Preferably candidates who are pursuing a career in dental hygiene.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Operate autoclaves for proper sterilization of dental instruments.

Stock supplies.

Assist students in the clinic areas with sterile techniques and all necessary supplies before, during, and after patient treatment.

Maintain cleanliness of all clinical areas.

Knowledge of OSHA standards.

Filing MSDS Sheets.

Understanding of blood borne pathogens.
