Advertised Salary: $14.00 - $14.49 Summary of Position: The Hispanic/Latino Cultural Center is seeking a student for their Special Projects Leader position. This position will give you the opportunity to gain experience in an office setting and knowledge for event planning. Position Requirements:
* Should have prior event planning experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Independently working with limited supervision
• Should have experience in general office duties
• As an individual who is responsible for driving on behalf of the University, it is required that Human Resources obtain and review a motor vehicle report to determine your eligibility to drive for the University. You will be asked to complete an authorization form for obtaining a motor vehicle report. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  * Providing assistance in overview of Special Projects Assistants
• Full range of event planning duties to ensure professionalism and successful events
• Scheduling catering, seating, obtaining decor, working with internal and external partners and vendors, and other operational duties for an event Number of Positions Available:
