Summary of Position: Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Student Life, the Student Manager is responsible for the general operation of the David L. Eisler Center at night and on weekends.
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to work weekday nights (5-10:30pm) and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs to shoulder level.
- Must be able to do other physical work including standing, lifting, stacking and moving equipment.
- Carry out David L. Eisler Center policies.
- Provide customer service in a professional manner and hold a positive image.
- Assist guests with making reservations.
- Ensure the David L. Eisler Center is locked and unlocked as appropriate for opening and closing the facility.
- Ensure that events are set up to guests' expectations.
- Enforce and uphold David L. Eisler Center policies.
- Be able to move and set up audiovisual equipment.
- Work with full-time and student staff to ensure events are properly set.
- Do manual set-ups of event spaces.
- Responsible for vacuuming, window cleaning and other cleaning as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Night Manager or Director of the University Center.
