Summary of Position:Are you pursuing a career in the biology field? If so, becoming a lab assistant could be your opportunity to gain further knowledge and experience within this field.
Position Requirements :- Minimum qualifications include high school chemistry course, high school biology course, and demonstrated competence in math, e.g., calculating concentrations, dilutions, and percentages.
- Preferred qualifications include college-level microbiology courses, e.g., FSU BIOL 108, 218, 286, or 386.
- Prepare microbiological media, stains, and test reagents.
- Remove materials for microbiology laboratory exercises.
- Clean microscopes and glassware.
- Process and correctly dispose of laboratory waste.
