School Director

New Hope Christian Academy invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Director.

New Hope Christian Academy is a Christian private school serving grades Kindergarten - 6th grade in Big Spring, Texas. We have small class sizes and big hearts. Our maximum student to teacher ratio is 10:1. We offer a diverse learning environment in a multi-grade classroom. The mission of the Academy is to be Christ-centered, Student Focused and Mission Minded. We provide and nurture a Christian educational environment in which the needs for the spiritual, academic, social and physical development of each student is met.

The Director of New Hope Christian Academy will have the opportunity to guide a mission-driven school into its next chapter. He/she will provide leadership and support to our School and faculty, and he/she will invest in the instruction and development of young lives towards an excellent Christian foundation, a lifelong love of learning, a love of truth and goodness and beauty, and a life of discipleship under Jesus Christ.

He/she will be the educational leader for the school, having oversight of day-to-day operations, including spiritual formation, staff professional development, classroom management, scheduling, student achievement, student safety, and more.

Candidates must be a member in good standing of a Bible believing church in agreement with the doctrinal statement of New Hope Christian Academy and lead a mature Christian life.

The position starts in the summer of 2026 in preparation for the  school year. The Director leads the School Board and reports to the church board for the First Church of the Nazarene which is the founding organization for the school.
