Basepay range
$60,000.00/yr - $84,000.00/yr
Responsibilities- Managing and overseeing the company's water reserves, ensuring sustainable use and optimal allocation.
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining financial models to predict, track, and optimize water usage and associated costs.
- Preparing financial reports related to water reserves, usage, and costs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with various teams, including operations, finance, and strategic planning, to provide financial insights and recommendations related to water resources.
- Conducting regular audits of water resources and related financial operations, identifying any issues or discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to water resource management, and incorporating this knowledge into your work.
- Providing training and guidance to other team members on water resource accounting and financial management.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA) would be a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on resource management. Experience in water resource management would be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant tools, such as Excel, SQL, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with an ability to make sound decisions based on data.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
- A keen interest in and understanding of water resources and their importance to business operations and sustainability.
