Implements and plans occupational therapy treatment programs across all age groups, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients’ performance, develop individualized treatment plans, and modify interventions based on ongoing evaluations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, handling cultural diversity with professionalism.
- Participate in discharge planning, documentation, and promote evidence-based practices.
- Support department policies, safety, quality improvement, and staff training, including mentoring and student supervision.
- Build positive team relationships, problem-solve, and adapt to organizational changes.
- Complete professional and departmental documentation, and identify adaptive equipment needs.
- Engage in professional development, seek and share feedback, and contribute to departmental growth.
- High School Diploma or GED and a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist certification required.
