An established, high-quality medium-sized care home in Biggleswade is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead its next chapter. The service provides nursing, residential and dementia care within a beautifully designed environment and holds a Good CQC rating.

This is not a turnaround role. The home has strong foundations, a loyal and capable team, low agency usage (approx. 3.7%), and occupancy at around 80%, offering genuine scope for thoughtful, reputation-led growth. Following the retirement of a long-standing and highly respected Manager, we are looking for a visible, values-driven leader to provide continuity, stability and clear direction.

The Role

As Home Manager, you will:

* Lead, develop and inspire an established team, nurturing future leaders.

* Maintain strong relationships with residents, families and local professionals.

* Balance commercial performance with compassionate leadership, overseeing occupancy, budgets and compliance.

* Provide consistent, emotionally intelligent leadership during a period of transition.

About You

* Experienced Home Manager (nurse or non-nurse).

* Confident overseeing clinical governance and regulatory compliance.

* Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of occupancy and performance drivers.

* Known for a leadership style built on trust, visibility and integrity.
