We are recruiting a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join a busy plant machinery operation in Biggleswade
. The role involves cleaning, moving, and positioning plant equipment within the yard to maximise space and ensure all machinery is prepared and ready for hire or dispatch.

• Clean plant machinery and equipment to a high standard.

• Move, park, and position machines safely and efficiently within the yard.

• Organise the yard to maximise space and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

• Operate plant machinery as required.

• Carry out basic visual checks and report any damage or defects.

• Assist with general yard duties when needed.

• Follow all health & safety procedures at all times.

• Previous experience working with plant machinery is essential.

• Confident operating equipment such as excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, or similar.

• NPORS or CPCS tickets preferred but not essential.

• Good understanding of health & safety in a yard environment.

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.

• Ongoing, full-time work.
