About the Role

We are recruiting an Assembly Operative on behalf of our client, a bespoke security solutions business based in Biggleswade. This is a permanent, full-time role offering steady weekday hours and the opportunity to learn new skills in a specialist manufacturing environment. No previous assembly experience is required, as full training will be provided.

This role may also suit candidates searching for roles such as Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Assembly Technician, Workshop Assistant, or individuals with transferable skills from light manufacturing, electronics, engineering, or hands-on warehouse roles.

What You’ll Do
  • Assemble components and products to specification
  • Follow clear instructions and build processes
  • Carry out visual quality checks to ensure high standards
  • Use basic hand tools and equipment safely
  • Work as part of a small, supportive production team
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace
