Location: Sandy, Bedfordshire
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours/week (Monday to Friday)
Pay: £20/hour
Overtime: Available, paid at 1.5x standard rate

The Opportunity

We re looking for a skilled and reliable Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established and respected engineering manufacturing company. You ll work on the fabrication of stainless-steel processing equipment, using a range of welding and fabrication techniques in a collaborative team environment.

What You ll Be Doing

• Perform TIG and Synergic MIG welding on stainless steel.
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings with accuracy.
• Use fabrication and sheet metal machinery, understanding tolerances and bend allowances.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in the workshop or on-site.
• Follow strict Health & Safety and quality control procedures.

What You ll Need

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with stainless steel.
• Ability to confidently read and work from engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a collaborative attitude.

Nice to Have:

• City & Guilds qualification or recognised welding/fabrication apprenticeship.
