Gatehouse Operative – Biggleswade

Pay: £14.65 per hour Hours:

• Training Week: 8 hours per day (Mon–Fri)

• Ongoing: 4 on / 4 off, 6am–6pm

We’re recruiting a dependable and detail‑focused Gatehouse Operative to support a busy site in Biggleswade
. This role suits someone confident with people, calm under pressure, and comfortable working independently across 12‑hour shifts.

• Access control for all vehicles, staff, and visitors
• Vehicle check‑in/out and accurate completion of paperwork
• Monitoring site security and reporting issues promptly
• Issuing passes and maintaining visitor logs
• Liaising with warehouse, transport, and security teams
• Ensuring compliance with all site procedures and safety standards

• Experience in gatehouse, security, transport admin, or logistics is beneficial
• Strong communication and customer‑service approach
• Comfortable working 12‑hour shifts on a rotating pattern
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
