What you will be doing
Working as part of the Warehouse team, the Warehouse Operative plays an important role in making sure customer orders are picked and packed to a high standard. The aim is to get things right first time and meet our customer service excellence targets. The role also includes providing a quick and accurate picking service for our Production team, supporting the wider operations function, and helping us uphold the company’s mission, vision, and values.
You day to day responsibilities include:

- Receiving and checking goods, reporting any issues.
- Organising and rotating stock to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch, including labelling and loading.
- Using counterbalance forklifts to move and load goods safely.
- Carrying out stock checks to maintain accuracy.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with safety standards.
- Supporting the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor with daily transport planning and dispatch.
- Completing general admin tasks such as printing orders, dispatch notes and filing.
- Making sure delivery notes and other paperwork are completed and stored correctly.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following:

- Experience operating Counterbalance trucks
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices within a warehouse
- Previous experience of warehouse understanding and its environment is desirable.
- Understanding of plastic products would be advantageous but not essential.
- Salary - £13.00 per hour depending on experience
