Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location:
Rajasthan, India
Experience:
7+ years | Full-time
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Early Years to build and lead our Early Years programme for children aged 2½–6 years .
We are embarking on an ambitious journey to create an authentic Montessori environment within our school—not simply a conventional preschool with Montessori materials.
This is a builder’s role . The successful candidate will work closely with the School Principal, school leadership and experienced external Montessori consultants to establish the philosophy, environment, teaching team and systems for our Early Years programme.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
· Leading the educational vision and implementation of our Montessori Early Years programme.
· Developing beautiful, purposeful prepared environments, including classrooms and outdoor learning spaces.
· Building and mentoring a strong team of Montessori Guides and assistants.
· Establishing meaningful, uninterrupted work cycles and developmentally appropriate learning pathways.
· Developing systems for observation, documentation and assessment.
· Building a culture of independence, concentration, curiosity and respect for the child.
· Working closely with parents to help them understand our approach to early childhood.
· Working with the Principal and school leadership to integrate the Early Years philosophy into the broader school.
Who We’re Looking For
· A recognised Montessori qualification for ages 3–6 , preferably an AMI 3–6 Diploma .
· 7+ years of experience in Montessori / child-centred early education.
· Significant experience as a Montessori Guide, preferably with leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
· Deep understanding of Montessori philosophy—not just familiarity with Montessori materials.
· Strong observation, communication and people-leadership skills.
· Someone who is patient, reflective, principled and deeply respectful of children.
· Most importantly, someone who is excited by the opportunity to build something exceptional from the ground up .
Why Join Us?
You won’t be joining a school with a finished Montessori programme and being asked to maintain it.
You will help us build it.
We are looking for an educational leader who believes that the early years should develop not only academic foundations, but independence, concentration, confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
If that resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.
To Apply:
Please share your CV along with a brief note about your Montessori journey and why you would like to build this programme with us.
