We are seeking an experienced and proactive Application Lead Developer with a deep understanding of Node.js to lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate will act as both a hands‑on developer and a technical leader, guiding a team of engineers in building reliable and efficient systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and the Fastify framework.
• Integrate and optimize data flow using Postgre
  
  SQL and Redis.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, Dev Ops engineers, and product teams to deliver robust backend solutions.
• Build and maintain services behind an API Gateway and ensure consistent request handling, throttling, and routing.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and debugging with Elastic Stack (ELK).
• Perform VM-based deployments and manage application environments on cloud or on-premises infrastructure.

• 5 to 7 years of hands‑on experience in backend development using Node.js and JavaScript.
• Lead end-to-end backend architecture and development using Node.js and related technologies.
• Conduct code reviews, promote best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Develop long-term relationships, not just transactions – engage regularly and meaningfully with customers.
• Translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Strong proficiency in the Fastify framework or comparable experience with Express.js and willingness to learn Fastify.
• Solid understanding of Redis for caching, pub/sub, or job queuing.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Postgre
  
  SQL and query optimization.
• Experience integrating and working with API Gateways (e.g., AWS API Gateway, NGINX).
• Experience with centralized logging using Elastic Stack / ELK stack.
• Experience with application deployment on Virtual Machines (VMs), including Linux-based environments. Understanding RESTful API design, authentication, authorization, and versioning.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (basic Docker understanding is a plus).
