** Primary Job

Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive supply planning process.
* Implement process improvement and systems projects to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and increase organizational capability.
* Provide regular updates to business unit leaders, interacting with multiple cross functional business.
* Ensure supply chain processes meet legal and trade compliance requirements and standards.
* Lead organization comprised of procurement, planning, shipping & receiving, and warehouse management teams.
* Evaluate and report on supply chain KPIs (part price variance, cycle count, excess and obsolete inventory, etc.).
* Provide regular reporting on inventory for Finance, Sales & Marketing, and key customers.
* Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
* Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
* Develop talent and retention strategies within the supply planning team.
* Train, coach, and evaluate your immediate team of talent.

* Job Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or another related field. MBA preferred.
* 10+ years’ experience in a senior level Purchasing, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management or Operations role.
* 5+ years of management experience leading a large Supply Chain functional teams or Customer teams.
* Advanced training or certifications in Purchasing or Materials Management preferred.
* Knowledge of business processes related to purchasing, logistics and operational planning.
* Demonstrated management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven track record of building and streamlining business systems and processes utilizing an ERP system (SAP is a plus).
* Six Sigma/Lean experience highly preferred.
* Advanced technical skills in MS Office,  Access, Excel, etc.
* Deep ERP experience, SAP preferred.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels within an organization.
* Experience in developing and maintaining customer collaboration.
* Experience with government contract supply chain regulations a plus
