Description

This is an expert role that provides project planning and coordination expertise and support to the Global Early Development team in support of the avelumab combination program. The role involves leading the operational execution of functional project strategies within the scope of the (sub-) projects assigned.

Tasks:

• Provide project management and coordination expertise to team Lead and Project Sub-Teams;
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and maintenance of core project information systems and databases in compliance with internal policies and procedures;
• Create project plans (e.g., Gantt charts, critical path representations, etc.);
• Develop, monitor, and track project tasks, budgets, and timelines; provide the team with early warnings on variances and support the definition of mitigation actions;
• Participate in project team meetings and consolidate output to ensure effective project progression;
• Responsible for compilation, follow-up, and maintenance of action item lists, ensuring quality and timeliness of project objectives and deliverables;
• Organize and coordinate team meetings and events, including logistical aspects;
• Interact with external vendors, parties, and partners to ensure collaborations with third parties run efficiently;
• Plan and track direct and indirect budgets and expenses.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Science and a commercial degree, preferably in Project Management
  ;
• Experience in various aspects of the drug development process
  ;
• Several years of work experience, with exposure to or experience working with or on global and/or matrixed project teams;
• Experience in developing social media and intra-/inter-net-based communication channels;
• Good organizational and coordination skills are mandatory, along with proactivity and strong time management competencies;
• Experience working with MS-Project
  ;
• Adaptability and flexibility to switch between projects and priorities.
