CNC Lathe/Milling Programmer/Operator 1st & 2nd Shift

Pay: $72,800 - $93,000 annually (DOE)

- First Shift (Day)
Mon‑Thu, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (4×10 schedule)
In winter:
Mon‑Fri, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. - Second Shift (Evening)
Mon‑Fri, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machine tools, including multi‑axis lathes
- Take raw material to finished components with minimal supervision
- Apply current cutting tool technology and machining best practices
- Read and interpret customer drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Determine machining parameters (speeds, feeds, tolerances, sequences)
- Perform trial cuts and make adjustments to achieve precision results
- Use measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, surface gauges, profilometers, CMM, and vision systems
- Program using CAM software (Fusion
360 preferred; Mastercam also accepted) - Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area while producing high‑quality parts
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred (but not required for the right person)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
- Authorization to work in the U.S. full‑time
