Assembly Test Technician

As an Assembly Technician you will perform technical testing, and processing of infra-red/I2/fusion camera related products in support of all phases of production.

POSITION: Contract

PAY RANGE: $28.00hr

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Perform system level functional and optical performance testing and troubleshooting on a variety of challenging surveillance/defense sub-assemblies and finished end-product camera systems.
  • Test camera systems and critical sub-assembly components in accordance to manufacturing test specifications, (test instructions, test data sheets, functional ATP’s, optical alignment performance criteria and system discrepancy reporting).
  • Interface with production team and technical support staff to maintain manufacturing quality and efficiency while actively participating in day-to-day manufacturing goals.
  • Inspect and verify all daily work to ensure it is performed accurately and efficiently, according to all quality performance specifications.
  • Interface with technical team to ensure all manufacturing test methods are standardized and documented to the latest versions.
  • Support the maintenance of test fixtures and test equipment.
  • As directed, provide support in test process improvement projects.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • AS degree in electronics or technical equivalent with 3+ years related technical experience within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Technical versatility: electrical, mechanical, optical alignment testing, IR testing experience a plus.
  • Troubleshooting skills and proficiency with set up and usage of test and alignment equipment preferred.
  • Proficiency in use of windows-based Office applications, optical test SFW and MES SFW for accessing digital work instructions, test data collection, traceability, reporting and communicating, preferred.
  • Practical problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to technical detail.
  • Ability to communication clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaboration, teamwork, and ability to contribute independently.
