Inside Sales Support Specialist

If you enjoy building customer relationships, finding solutions, and helping drive sales, this role could be a great fit. As an Inside Sales Support Specialist, you’ll partner with our Field Sales team to prepare technical quotes, support account growth, and keep opportunities moving—from initial inquiry through order review.

• Partner with Field Sales Representatives to identify opportunities, grow target accounts, and coordinate customer appointments.
• Connect with customers by phone and virtually to understand their needs, explain solutions, and advance sales opportunities.
• Review customer requirements, prepare quotes and proposals, and perform technical order reviews.
• Follow up on open opportunities and coordinate internal resources to resolve customer questions and issues.
• Build knowledge of our Process Analytics products and services to identify opportunities for consumables, accessories, and service.
• Keep CRM records accurate and current and follow company pricing guidelines and sales processes.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, potentially 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred; alternatively, at least 3 years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with SAP or another CRM system and Microsoft Office.
• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across sales, technical support, service, and operations teams.

The Process Analytics division within METTLER TOLEDO () produces analytical measurement solutions for industrial manufacturing processes, allowing manufacturing companies to better control their production through at-line, on-line or in-line analytical measurements. We have over 60 years of experience as a leader in the industry of liquid process analytics and ultrapure water analytics. In addition to water analytics, MTPRO also offers a portfolio of sensors for gas process analytics.

Product applications include:

• Measurement of pH and dissolved oxygen in biopharmaceutical and biotech fermentation processes.
• Measurement of conductivity and pH in a range of chemical applications.
• Measurement of turbidity, CO2 and O2 in beer production.
