We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fleet Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Billerica, MA. The ideal candidate will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of tractors and trailers, ensuring all equipment operates safely, reliably, and in compliance with DOT standards. • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and related fleet equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; complete necessary repairs or component replacements.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.
• Support shop organization by maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and management to coordinate repairs and minimize downtime.
• Stay informed on new tools, technologies, and best practices in diesel and fleet maintenance.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet technician, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, brake systems, suspension components, and electrical diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
