Climber​/Bucket Operator

Marquis Tree Service is hiring a Climber/Bucket Operator to perform tree removals, pruning, trimming, and other tree care services. In this role, you will work alongside the crew to complete projects safely and maintain high service standards from site assessment through final cleanup.

• Climb trees using rope and saddle or operate aerial lift trucks to perform tree removals, pruning, and trimming.
• Operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other specialized tree service equipment using proper techniques and safety procedures.
• Participate in site assessments and safety briefings before work begins, and follow industry safety standards and company policies throughout each project.
• Coordinate with crew members and management, and communicate with clients about job details and progress.
• Inspect and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment to support safe, reliable operation.
• Document completed work and report incidents, hazards, and equipment issues.
• Respond to emergency tree work and storm damage cleanup, which may require working outside regular hours.

• 3-5 years of tree care experience.
• Strong knowledge of tree species, tree health, pruning techniques, and safe tree removal practices.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, job maps, and blueprints.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions and at heights.
• Valid driver's license; CDL Class A preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• ISA Certified Arborist or other relevant certifications are a plus.
