CDM Principal Designer

A commercially successful Construction Consultancy, with a strong presence in Essex, is seeking a CDM Principal Designer to work on a variety of public sector and private sector projects. The business supports staff influence by allowing offices to select which days to work from the office, twice a week.

They have strong client frameworks across Government contracts and private sector work, enabling a varied day-to-day. This multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a CDM Principal Designer with at least 2 years of experience to work from their office twice a week, in a hybrid role.

The successful CDM Principal Designer will be involved in limiting major and all CDM-related risk during the design stages. The role will require clear communication to ensure handover to the Principal Contractor is as effective as possible.

The CDM Principal Designer suitable for this role will have at least 2 years within a CDM Principal Design / Design Risk Management role.

You will have a NEBOSH Construction or a relevant level 3 equivalent H&S / NEBOSH certificate.

Already having security clearance will be beneficial, but not vital.

The salary is negotiable depending on your ability and experience but as a guide:
