Teacher Active are recruiting qualified PE Teachers to work on a daily supply basis in secondary schools across Billericay. The Role & Responsibilities

As a Secondary PE Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and energetic PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

Encourage teamwork, resilience, and a positive attitude to physical activity

Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Adapt activities to suit different abilities and learning needs

Represent the school professionally at all times

Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures

This is daily supply, meaning no long-term commitment — just turning up, teaching, and inspiring students.

We’re looking for someone who:

✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs welcome
✔ Has experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools
✔ Is confident delivering both practical and theory-based lessons
✔ Has strong classroom and behaviour management
✔ Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive presence to the school
