St John's is a co‑educational Independent School for pupils aged between 2 and 16 years. We are proud of our educational provision and offer you the opportunity to join our successful school as an examination invigilator. The role will involve working within an existing team for the GCSE series in May and June of 2026.

• Reading (reading examination paper to student)
• Scribe (writing answers for the student)
• Assisting word processing if the student has this facility, supervising students who have breaks in between questions as well as assisting students who have a visual impairment or medical/emotional issues.

• The GCSE exams begin on Tuesday 5th May and finish on Wednesday 17th June, with sessions from 8.45 - 11.15am and 1.15 to 3.45pm.
• The successful candidate will be allocated sessions within the exam series.

• Be able to support a calm, purposeful examination experience for our pupils.
• Be a positive role model.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a school environment and/or in invigilating for exams would be an advantage.
