PE Teacher

About the Role

Local Education is currently supporting a secondary school in Billericay that requires a PE Teacher or PE Instructor for an immediate start after February Half term.

This is a practical, active role delivering PE across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is open to both qualified PE teachers and experienced PE instructors, provided they can confidently manage groups and deliver engaging, structured lessons.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the school timetable
• Manage behaviour effectively in practical environments
• Promote participation, teamwork and physical wellbeing
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
• Liaise with PE staff where required

Requirements

• Experience delivering PE in a secondary school setting
• QTS is desirable but not essential (instructors welcome)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Availability to start immediately
• Right to work in the UK and ability to complete safeguarding compliance
