We are looking to appoint a Mechanical Technician to join our engineering team and assist with the machining, manufacturing and assembly of enclosures, equipment and machinery on our factory floor.

This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills and experience in assembly, machining and fault finding. The position will also involve occasional travel to customer sites worldwide to support installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

* Mechanical fitting and assembly work on the factory floor

* Conducting machinery trials and testing

* Piping, testing and fault-finding pneumatic logic circuits

* Assembly, commissioning and servicing of equipment at customer sites

* Supporting installation work when required

* Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards

Requirements

* Strong basic mechanical engineering skills

* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and assembly diagrams

* Practical experience in mechanical assembly and machining

* Exposure to pneumatics and fault finding would be beneficial

* Experience with installation or commissioning work is desirable

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

* Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

* Recognised engineering apprenticeship or technical certification preferred

* Willingness to travel occasionally to support a global customer base
