We are expanding our SEO team and looking for two technically focused Technical SEO Executives. You will be responsible for the technical performance of our clients websites, carrying out audits, diagnosing issues, and driving improvements that support long term organic growth.

Salary: £28,000 – £40,000 depending on experience

We are expanding our SEO team and looking for two technically focused Technical SEO Executives. You will be responsible for the technical performance of our clients websites, carrying out audits, diagnosing issues, and driving improvements that support long term organic growth.

This role has limited client communication. You will work primarily with SEO Account Managers, who handle client comms, while you focus on technical analysis, implementation support, and documentation.

You will need at least two years of hands‑on technical SEO experience, including regular use of tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, GA4, and Google Search Console. Experience with platforms such as Word Press and Shopify is highly desirable.

• Work across a portfolio of 8 to 12 client websites at any one time, delivering technical improvements that support long term organic growth
• Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals on the Sierra Six Media website, working closely with our development team to implement performance enhancements
• Carry out in depth technical SEO audits across a range of CMSs and site types
• Monitor site health, crawlability, indexation, and visibility using Screaming Frog, SEMrush, GA4, and GSC
• Review site architecture, internal linking, and URL structures, recommending improvements that support rankings and user experience
• Review existing content performance from a technical perspective, identifying issues such as cannibalisation, thin content, duplication, and weak internal linking
• Provide clear recommendations for content consolidation, pruning, or improvement based on data and site structure
• Assess content templates, metadata setups, and on-page elements to ensure content can be crawled, indexed, and ranked effectively
• Own technical on-page optimisation at scale, including metadata, headings, and internal linking frameworks
• Analyse Core Web Vitals and site speed, then create clear recommendations to improve performance
• Create, manage, and quality check XML sitemaps, robots.txt rules, and canonical setups
• Support implementation of redirects, hreflang, and structured data, and verify changes once deployed
• Investigate ranking or traffic drops, diagnose root causes, and propose practical, prioritised fixes
• Prepare concise technical notes for Account Managers to share with clients
• Work closely with developers using clear briefs and ticketing to ensure changes are delivered correctly
• Document your work in an organised, repeatable way so that progress can be tracked and reported
• Stay up to date with algorithm updates and technical SEO developments, feeding insights into our processes
