Job Title : Tractor Operator – Highways & Vegetation Maintenance

Location : Based in Billericay, Essex (jobs up to 1.5 hours away)

Salary : Tractor Operator- £40,000 - £45,000 per annum,
Team Leader (SSSTS) - £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Shifts : Monday - Friday (Night shifts: 6:30pm – 4:30am; occasional day shifts: 8:00am – 4:30pm)

80-85% of the work is on night shifts – so flexibility is essential. Most nights are job and knock, meaning early finishes once the work is done, and Fridays often finish earlier too.

Please note - You must hold a full UK Driving Licence to be considered for this position

• Tractor mowing & flail operations
• Ride-on mowing & robotic mowing
• Hedge cutting & brush cutting
• General grounds maintenance & vegetation clearance

• CSCS Card
• ROLO Card (BALI H&S)
• Highways England Passport
• Safety Critical Medical
• Relevant tickets – Brush cutter, Chainsaw, Ride-on Mower, or similar

• Stable, full-time position with competitive pay
• End-of-year overtime review – if you work over 2,500 hours, you ll get paid extra!
• No work on bank holidays or the Friday before a bank holiday
• Most Friday nights finish early
