Payroll Executive

My client is part of a group of Accountancy Practices. Based in a friendly and supportive team in Teesside, you will be working on a portfolio of clients. Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Executive to join them on a permanent basis.

• Payroll bureau responsibilities
• Responsible for all aspects from start to finish
• Manage a portfolio of clients with varied frequencies and complexities
• Reconciling payroll reports
• Handle high volume/multiple payrolls
• Auto enrolment
• RTI submissions
• Process statutory payments
• Handle client payroll queries
• Year end returns

• Excellent technical skills with strong working knowledge of SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, PAYE, NIC
• Knowledge of expenses and benefits, pensions, and all year end procedures
• Compliance, P45s and ability to process manual calculations
• Ability to do Autoenrollment
• Bureau experience
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Strong eye for detail
• Strong initiative
• Enjoys working within a team, yet can work autonomously
• Experience processing multiple payrolls
• Excellent Excel skills
• Exceptional payroll knowledge to answer queries
