THE ROLE As a Head of Housekeeping at a Barchester independent mental health hospital, you'll help to create the comfortable and secure environment that is so important to delivering quality patient care and support. Leading a team of housekeeping staff, you'll ensure that every room and living space is maintained to the highest standards. The Head of Housekeeping role demands excellent attention to detail, but we'll also rely on you to motivate everyone in your team to be at their best.

Experience of housekeeping in a care home, hospital or hotel environment will be very advantageous for the role of Head of Housekeeping. We'll also look for a proven ability to lead and inspire a team. A caring nature and good communication skills are also important as you'll often come into contact with other members of staff, patients and their relatives.
