Job Overview

Do you like a challenge? If so we are looking for Support Workers who are confident, outgoing, fun and resilient to join our Lunedale Road supported living team. The service users at Lunedale Road are looking for support staff who can cook, enjoy arts & crafts and who don’t mind being outdoors whatever the weather! The service users require staff who are able to adapt quickly and think on their feet to provide person-centred support.

• Provide person‑centred support to up to 5 adults aged 18‑72 living in 3 bungalows.
• Assist with cooking, arts & crafts and outdoor activities.
• Support 1‑1 at home and 2‑1 when out in the community.
• Deliver a 24‑hour rota pattern that may include waking night support.

• Confident, positive communicator with unconditional positive regard for people you support.
• Experience with learning disability, mental health needs, autism or challenging behaviour is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to drive service users’ cars and a clean manual driving licence.
• Knowledge of a positive behaviour support framework and the ability to follow agreed guidelines.
• Motivated to grow from entry level to leadership roles through Creative Support’s Development Pathway.
