Sourcing & Procurement Manager Billingham, UKJoin us to shape how our Billingham manufacturing site sources and partners with suppliers. As a Sourcing & Procurement Manager, you’ll deliver measurable value across a £60m spend portfolio—optimising cost, quality, service, risk and supply continuity—while integrating site needs with regional and global procurement strategies.

What you’ll doLead cost-saving initiatives and sourcing projects across assigned spend categories.

Partner with regional and global Procurement to leverage scale and secure optimal solutions.

Engage stakeholders across the site to build buy-in and deliver value-focused outcomes.

Create value with external partners (e.g., reduced lead times, improved payment terms, innovative supply solutions).Apply approved tools, systems and methodologies in day-to-day sourcing and buying.

Implement supplier performance management processes and metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Champion compliant buying and contracting processes and support audit readiness.

Track category trends, conduct market research and communicate key insights and risks.

Build strong relationships with functional teams to understand and prioritise business needs.

Negotiate contracts and terms with strategic and higher-risk suppliers.

What you’ll bring5+ years’ procurement experience with a track record in sourcing and commercial negotiations.

Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts and terms with high-risk suppliers.

Strong stakeholder management, supplier relationship, communication and negotiation skills.

CIPS Level 4 (or actively studying towards it).Strong knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing and supplier performance management.
