• Prepares individual, business and other types of tax returns for clients in various types of entities and industries.
• Works with the tax team to ensure the components of the tax process are performed, including tax planning, client interaction and performing special tax projects.
• Gathers relevant tax-related information from clients to prepare accurate tax returns.
• Assesses tax situations from multiple angles to maximize tax benefits.
• Develops solutions and communicates them to the engagement team and client.
• Prepares accounting-related reports in a paperless office environment.
• Trains and mentors lower-level employees in the tax department.
• Attends training seminars, professional development and networking events.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Active CPA license or working toward CPA;
  Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted.
• 2-4 years of tax experience within public accounting.
• Well-rounded knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Ability to stay up-to-date on changing tax industry regulations and policies.
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to focus on complex tasks and understand the firm’s comprehensive compliance processes.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
