Overview
Butte location preferred; will consider other major office locations in Montana (Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Helena or Missoula) for the right candidate. Open to a full-time position.

- Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Must have a B.S. in Engineering, experienced and upcoming December 2025 graduates encouraged to apply
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Good working knowledge of utility operation maintenance activities
- First aid/CPR certification preferred
- Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving record
- Evaluate emerging technologies and establish tools for central maintenance programs
- Collect data, analyze and provide recommendations based on department needs
- Create, issue and evaluate Request for Proposals for contract resources to perform maintenance activities
- Initiate and review contracts and ensure North Western Energy project interests and specifications are appropriately represented prior to contract execution
- Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures based on company requirements
- Develop schedule, cost, and scope controls to monitor contractor performance against annual goals
- Lead special projects and utilize change and project management techniques as required
- Assist in developing and managing capital expense budgets
- Travel to job sites, off-site meetings, and up to 25% travel per year including overnight stays when necessary
