HDR is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Lead to help lead our irrigation practice. This role involves coordinating, managing, and executing the planning and design of hydraulic/irrigation focused civil projects. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals in the development of studies, designs, reports, plans, and specifications for hydraulic facilities and structures.

Responsibilities include:

Leading multidisciplinary teams throughout project lifecycle.

Managing all aspects of small to medium projects.

Developing and maintaining client relationships and participating in marketing efforts.

Overseeing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Implementing QA/QC procedures.

Performing additional duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field.
10+ years civil engineering experience with emphasis on design and irrigation.
Professional registration (PE or P.Eng).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Experience with water storage reservoirs, hydropower, erosion control, and working with irrigation districts and government agencies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
At least 7 years of related experience.
Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
